Trap

Tackle football, 6 on 6 · Run

Trap10102020PullTrapFakeECEQBR

Against the three-man front of the usual six-man defence, a single pull creates an immediate numbers advantage at the point of attack. The backside end pulls flat behind the line and kicks the first unblocked defender outside; the back rides his inside hip through the gap.

Called on: 2nd & short · 3rd & short · Red zone

How the drawing is made

The drawing above is not a reproduction. It comes from the same library a new playbook gets its ready-made plays from, and it is drawn by the same renderer as the printout on game day. Take Trap into Routetree and this is exactly what you get.

It is drawn to the dimensions of Tackle football, 6 on 6. The same idea on a different field needs different spacing, which is why every concept sits in the format it applies to.
