Flag football plays, explained
Spread Levels
Flag football, 5 on 5 · Short Pass
Two routes inside, stacked one above the other: one at three yards, one at eight. The defender in the middle can only cover one level. What matters here is the gap between the two. If they run at the same height, one defender covers both.
Called on: 1st down · 2nd & long · 3rd & medium
How the drawing is made
The drawing above is not a reproduction. It comes from the same library a new playbook gets its ready-made plays from, and it is drawn by the same renderer as the printout on game day. Take Spread Levels into Routetree and this is exactly what you get.
It is drawn to the dimensions of Flag football, 5 on 5. The same idea on a different field needs different spacing, which is why every concept sits in the format it applies to.
