Flag football plays, explained
Inside Zone
Tackle football, 11 on 11 · Run
The most widely taught run in football. The line does not block man on man but a zone to the right; the running back aims for the gap next to the center and cuts to wherever it opens. A play that works against any front, because nobody knows in advance where it is going.
Called on: 1st down · 2nd & short · 3rd & short
How the drawing is made
The drawing above is not a reproduction. It comes from the same library a new playbook gets its ready-made plays from, and it is drawn by the same renderer as the printout on game day. Take Inside Zone into Routetree and this is exactly what you get.
It is drawn to the dimensions of Tackle football, 11 on 11. The same idea on a different field needs different spacing, which is why every concept sits in the format it applies to.
